Description:
All aboard! This classic set includes everything you need to enter the World of LGB. You get a "Stainz" steam locomotive with a big Bühler motor and a smoke generator. You also get two colorful passenger coaches, five figures, a full circle of track (51 in dia.), a quick-connect cable and a powerful power pack. You don't need any tools or anything else. Just open the box and go!
This rare LGB 72301 Circus Steam Starter Set includes Shourt Line SL LED Lighting systems in each car. The lighting operates on analog (DC), AC or DCC track power.
The lighting systems installed in each car are so efficient, up to 94% efficient, that even the LGB starter set included in this set will power all 22 LEDs at full brightness at the lowest track voltage of any product available. Normally the LGB power pack included with starter sets will not power the train when 4 LGB bulbs are installed. With the Shourt Line lighting system you can power the loco, 19 LEDs PLUS ANOTHER 80 LEDs without overloading the LGB starter power pack!
The Passenger cars have Shourt Line LED controllers with dimmers installed and LGB power connectors front and rear. Both cars work with up to 94% efficiency at low train speed or at full track voltage.
The SL LED controller in each car includes a dimmer to adjust your choice of lighting level and works at full brightness at even slow loco speeds (low track voltage) AND includes a anti-flicker circuitry.

To turn on car lighting connect the plugs into the power jacks on the rear of the loco as shown above
SL 8111230 11 LED drop ceiling lighting fixture is easily dimmer by lifting the roof and turning the LED dimmer control counter-clockwise with a screw driver.

Each car includes an installed miniature SL 8453003 Precision Train Throttle & LED controller for powering and dimming over 200 LEDs at up to 94% efficiency from AC,DC or DCC at 4 to 35 volts and includes anti-flicker circuit.
LGB round power connectors on black micro-cable at front of the car for connecting to power at the loco or car in front.
LGB round power connectors on black micro-cable at rear of the cars for powering cars to the rear.
Connect additional car lighting using the male LGB round power connectors to plug into the female connectors on the car ahead. Add as many lighted cars as desired to your train by using the Shourt Line high efficiency SL 8111230 11 LED drop ceiling lighting fixtures.
Both cars have LGB round female power connectors on black micro-cable at rear of the cars for powering cars to the rear.
