Background:
The Germany Railway uses electric power via catinary overhead wires to run passenger trains. This set includes a 2nd and 3rd class passenger cars and a Class E 69 Electric Locomotive.
The loco together with its original box, instruction manual, and two passenger cars are in factory-new condition.

DRG No Longer Available Class E 69 Green color scheme. Metal superstructure with fine screw joints. 1 axle powered. 2 traction tires. 1 older design pantograph. Universal electronic circuit that can be set manually for operation with AC power or for the Märklin Delta and Digital multi-train control system. Conversion circuit board for operation with DC power is included. Engineer's cab has interior details and doors that can be opened. Locomotive figure included. Separately applied metal handrails. Minimum radius required for operation is 600 mm 23-5/8 inches. Length over buffers 23.0 cm / 9-1/16 inches.
Operation:
This G scale train is ready to run on any G scale (45 mm) track. Uses either DC (analog), AC, Delta or Digital power for control. The loco has automatic directional lighting that can also be controlled via the Digital control systems.
The loco has a power selector switch for choosing tack or overhead power.
