The Lil' Critter represents a popular type of diesel electric Locomotive which was an economical answer to construction, industrially and railroad switching in branch line service. It was the successor the the small steam switching locomotives which were commonly employed.
The diesel electric switching locomotive is the ideal motive power unit for industrial use because of this low operating cost, height availability, smooth performance, reduced track and wheel wear and its ability to negotiate very short radius curves.

- Motor Switch for parking Loco with Lights On without motor power

Operation:
- Please on track and switch motor setting on the left side of the loco to 'ON'
- To park the loco with lights on, set the motor switch to 'OFF'
- Apply DC track voltage 0 - 22VDC to run loco, reverse polarity to reverse direction of loco
- Do not use oil on oil, use only dr lubricant of powered graphite on the wheel bearings
- Refer to to user instructions, included, for bulb replacement.
